We can come ungrounded in times of trauma--both physical trauma, like being in a car accident, or being born, and emotional trauma, like discovering your spouse has a pornography addiction or seeing a big fat F on the top of a school assignment you desperately needed to pass.
When we experience trauma of any kind, we have the potential to become ungrounded. But how? This is the question that I've been stunned more people don't ask. HOW does it happen?? HOW does grounding and ungrounding work?
The answer is the grounding tube.
