Where grounding begins... in the skull?

So far this week we've been talking a lot about grounding and how it is way more complex than most people understand. Today I wanted to talk about one of the most important pieces to grounding... the skull.  Skull utilization in the grounding process When you really think about it, though, it makes some amount of sense. If the body and spirit are not fully connected, and if the spirit feels "outside" of the body... how did it get outside? Well, probably through the head! Up and out! There are several modulating pieces of energetic anatomy associated with the skull, in different areas. One to connect the right and left brains; one to connect the body and the spirit; and one to connect the brain to the spine (and then from there to the root and then to the feet and then to the earth--those are all different pieces of this complex system). Obviously the skull and brain contain many, many different pieces of energetic anatomy, just as they contain many different bones and lobes and systems in real life. In case you thought energy work was simple--well, it can be simple, but also, it is very much not simple. However complex the human physical body is, the energetic body is many, many times more complex. The skull has many connections to the grounding process. If the various aspects of the skull are not in perfect energetic alignment, and if they are not intact, and if they are not "on," and if they don't know what they're doing, you're going to have a hard time grounding.

A Simple Exercise Obviously, taking care of this system is... complex! The word of the day when it comes to grounding. But there are things you can do at home to start realigning your systems.  One simple exercise I recommend doing today is to set a timer for five minutes. You're going to sit in a chair with your feet flat on the ground and your spine perfectly straight, or as straight as you can get it. You're going to place your own hands right on top of your head, right on your crown, and you're going to breathe deeply and slowly for those five minutes, and you're going to imagine or think about what it would be like for a circle there to heal. This circle connects to the "grounding tube," and it needs to be functional in order for the body and spirit to be fully connected. So just breathe for those five minutes and imagine that circle being filled with light and healing up and cracks that might be in it. If you can't imagine the circle there, just imagine filling the space where it should be with light. You can send out a mental call to that circle: "Grounding tube connector piece! I want you back! Help me help you come back!" and see what happens!  I am so interested to hear your experience!
