why I don't fear September 2015--and why you shouldn't either

There's been a lot of fear and anxiety surrounding the dreaded month of September 2015--the dreaded month that is already here!

Prepper sites are buzzing. Economists are watching the stock markets with wary eyes. Here is a list of 33 things that are supposed to happen this month, including things like the end of this Shemitah cycle, the final supermoon in a quad of Biblical blood moons, and the Pope addressing Congress for the first time ever, in conjunction with the introduction of the United Nations' new 2030 Agenda. This list doesn't even include the Mercury retrograde set to begin on September 17. October 1, 2015 marks the beginning of the final 4.3-year period in the 86-year cycle from the onset of socialism in 1934. This has been the month to watch for several years.

On the groups I belong to on Facebook, I see and read a lot of fear. People are feeling anxious and afraid of what may or may not be coming, particularly with regards to the completion of this Shemitah cycle and a possible economic crash around the date of September 13--which, yes, is a Sunday. However this Shemitah cycle resolves itself, the actual associated potential stock market crash will not happen on that exact day. But how things play out has yet to be seen.

And truly: the future is the future and no one really knows it. Maybe nothing interesting will happen at all this month, and wouldn't that be great.

But on the other hand, something might. And it's that possibility that weighs on people's hearts.

So I'm here to say: I'm not afraid of September 2015, and I'm not afraid of an economic shift, and I'm not afraid of anything that this month, or future months, might bring. And you don't have to be afraid, either.

Let's talk vibration.

The Vibrational Shift

Has everything been feeling out of control lately? Murders are rising in cities nationwide, Christians are being slaughtered en masse in the middle east, Planned Parenthood is butchering our children and selling them for spare parts, and in the meantime, our president is busy doing really high priority stuff like renaming mountains. Glenn Beck posted an important note on Facebook this morning of a list of ten significant things that just happened yesterday--a sobering look at the reality we are currently facing.

The fact is that our planet is undergoing a gigantic vibrational shift--we are shifting to a higher vibration on a global level. Energetically speaking, this is a good thing. The higher the vibrations, the better! But then, if the whole world is raising in vibration, why do things appear to be getting worse?

It's like shaking stuff through a sieve. The harder the sieve is shaken, the quicker things separate. You get the fine stuff on the one end, and the big stuff is caught in the sieve. What's happening with a global increase in vibrational energy is essentially a separation, or, some might say, a gathering.

You may be interested to do a scripture keyword search for "shake." God uses shaking to divide the righteous from the wicked--and in particular to punish the wicked. When God shakes things at higher and higher vibrations, people who are already vibrating at such a level are fine. It's the people stuck at lower operational frequencies that suffer.

Examine the following scriptures (emphasis mine):

24 Keep all the commandments and covenants by which ye are bound; and I will cause the heavens to shake for your good, and Satan shall tremble and Zion shall rejoice upon the hills and flourish; - D&C 35:24

 56 But it is they who do not fear me, neither keep my commandments but build up churches unto themselves to get gain, yea, and all those that do wickedly and build up the kingdom of the devil—yea, verily, verily, I say unto you, that it is they that I will disturb, and cause to tremble and shake to the center. - D&C 10:56

God makes the heavens shake for our good--and causes the wicked to shake to the center. During the vibrational shift this month, it is crucial to align our hearts with God's heart by keeping the commandments, studying the scriptures, praying, and keeping the Sabbath day holy. Frankly, this is crucial all the time. But if you are worried about the things that could happen this month, those are the imperatives that will keep your head above water.

If Ye Are Prepared Ye Shall Not Fear

As I was searching the scriptures, I came across D&C 38:30, the famous "if ye are prepared ye shall not fear" verse. I quote it here and ask you to notice the interesting phrasing.

30 I tell you these things because of your prayers; wherefore, treasure up wisdom in your bosoms, lest the wickedness of men reveal these things unto you by their wickedness, in a manner which shall speak in your ears with a voice louder than that which shall shake the earth; but if ye are prepared ye shall not fear. - D&C 38:30

Right before this verse, the Lord explains that we do not know the hearts of men in our own land. This verse makes it clear that we have a choice: we can discover the secret doings of the modern-day Gadiantons in our midst by the scriptures and inspiration or by the revelation of their wickedness--and we learn that if we learn about their evil because they reveal it to us, it will "speak in [our] ears with a voice louder than that which shall shake the earth."

To me, what this means is:

1. There is a voice that will shake the earth. 

2. If we are not wise and aware of the modern-day Gadiantons, with God's perspective on them, we will learn about them the hard way--in a way that speaks to our ears louder than God's voice speaks to us.  

3. When we allow ourselves to listen to that loud voice of revealed wickedness, rather than the voice of wisdom of the scriptures, it is only then that we are afraid.

We talk a lot about food storage and water storage and other emergency preparedness, but in the end, the most important preparedness is spiritual preparedness: storing up wisdom in our hearts, and being like the wise virgins in the parable of the ten virgins.

Conclusion

The earth is undergoing a serious vibrational shift--but as we raise our own frequencies through prayer, scripture study, Sabbath day observance, and general growth of faith, we ensure that as the sieve shakes, we will enjoy the Lord's divine guidance and protection in whatever form that may take. We can trust that no matter how the shaking turns out, we will be living in accordance with God's highest ideal for our lives--so we can face our difficulties with grace. As we immerse ourselves in the scriptures and build our faith with an understanding of how God delivers His people from the hands of the wicked, we can live with faith and hope instead of fear.
